Sixteen digits.
That’s everything we know about you.

No email. No name. No phone number. No address. Your LunoVPN account is a random number generated on request — and your IP address is never logged, stored, or linked to it. Not by the app, not by the backend, not anywhere.

This is a live demonstration: the number above is produced by your own browser using its cryptographic random generator and is never transmitted to us. Real account numbers are issued the same way when you subscribe.

The signup that isn’t

What a typical VPN asks for — and what we ask for

Press play and watch a conventional signup fill itself in. Every field it captures is one more thing that can be breached, subpoenaed, sold, or used to link a real person to an encrypted session.

What your browser just told this page

Every website you open can read the details below in a fraction of a second. Most services collect them, attach them to your account and keep them. Here they are, read live on your device right now — and then discarded.

Nothing on this panel was sent to LunoVPN. It was read by JavaScript on your device purely to show you what any site can see — and it disappears the moment you close the tab.

Your IP address is deliberately not shown: displaying it would require asking a server for it, and we would rather demonstrate the point than make an exception to it.

All the way to the backend

What happens to your IP when you connect

“We don’t log” is easy to say. Here is the actual path a connection takes through our infrastructure, and what survives each stage. Every control below was examined in the independent audit.

$ trace connection --account 8412… --show-retention
After a full session, records that could tie this connection to a person: 0. Not deleted afterwards — never created in the first place.

Your IP address is necessarily part of the packets that reach our edge, exactly as it is for every server on the internet. The difference is what happens next: it is held only in volatile memory for the lifetime of the connection, is never written to disk, never entered into a log, and is never associated with your account number. The independent audit found no user-attributable IP records in our systems.

How it works

Anonymous from end to end

1

Generate your account number

Open the app or the signup page and a random 16-digit number is created. You type nothing — there are no fields to fill in.

2

Save the number somewhere safe

This number is the only way back into your account. Put it in a password manager or write it down before you go any further.

3

Pay in a way that suits you

Choose Monero if you want the payment to carry no identity either. Cards and app stores work too, though those processors will know who paid.

4

Connect — and stay unidentified

Your subscription activates against the number alone. No profile is built, no IP is stored, and nothing links the session to a person.

Read this part twice: your number cannot be recovered.

Anonymity cuts both ways. Because we hold no email address and no personal details, there is no reset link we can send you and no way for you to prove an account is yours. If you lose your 16-digit number, the account is gone and we genuinely cannot help. Save it in a password manager, or write it down and keep it somewhere safe, before you do anything else.

FAQ

Anonymous signup questions

How do I sign up for LunoVPN without an email address?
You don’t give us anything. When you create an account, a random 16-digit number is generated and that number is your entire identity with us. There is no email field, no name field, no phone number and no account questionnaire — the number is the account.
What personal information does LunoVPN collect at signup?
None. We don’t ask for your name, email address, phone number, home address, date of birth or any other personal detail. The only thing tied to your account number is whether your subscription is currently active.
Do you log or store my IP address?
No. Your IP address is never written to a log, never stored and never linked to your account number. It exists only as a transient routing detail held in memory while packets are in flight, and the independent audit found no user-attributable IP records anywhere in our systems.
Can I pay anonymously too?
Yes. Monero is the most private option — it carries no name and no card, so nothing about the payment identifies you. Cards, the App Store and Google Play also work, but those processors will know who paid even though we don’t receive or store that identity.
What happens if I lose my 16-digit account number?
We cannot recover it, and that is the honest trade-off of anonymity. There is no email to send a reset link to and no security question that could prove the account is yours. Save the number in a password manager or write it down somewhere safe before you close the page.
How do I contact support without an account or email?
Quote your 16-digit account number and we can see whether the subscription is active, which is enough to help with almost everything. If you want a reply by email you can use any address you like, including a throwaway one — we never attach it to your account.
Is anonymous signup just marketing, or has it been verified?
An independent assessor, CyberNexis Ltd, tested 131 controls across our servers, backend APIs, billing systems and client apps between March and April 2026 and found our no-logs implementation consistent with our stated commitments. The full report is published on our transparency page, including the improvements they asked us to make.

The best way to protect data is never to have it.

No email. No name. No stored IP. Just a number, and a connection that belongs to you.
