Our team is spread across time zones, but our roots are in San Diego, California. Whether you work from our HQ or from your favourite cafe halfway around the world, you’ll be part of a close, senior team that ships fast and looks out for each other.

Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

Engineering Remote Full-time

Design and scale the Go services that power authentication, billing, and our global VPN control plane.

You'll own core backend services that thousands of servers and millions of sessions depend on — building fast, reliable, privacy-preserving APIs in Go.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build and operate Go microservices for auth, billing and the VPN control plane.
  • Improve reliability, latency and observability across a global fleet.
  • Collaborate with security to keep our no-logs guarantees intact by design.
  • Review code and mentor other engineers.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years building production backend systems, strong Go experience.
  • Solid grasp of distributed systems, databases and API design.
  • Comfortable with Linux, containers and CI/CD.
  • Care about privacy, security and clean, testable code.

Security Engineer

Security Hybrid — San Diego Full-time

Harden our infrastructure, run our no-logs verification, and keep LunoGuard airtight.

Security is our product. You'll threat-model our systems, drive audits, and make sure our privacy promises hold up under real-world pressure.

What you’ll do

  • Threat-model services and infrastructure; drive remediation.
  • Support independent no-logs and infrastructure audits.
  • Run our bug-bounty triage and incident response.
  • Build tooling that makes the secure path the easy path.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years in application/infrastructure security.
  • Hands-on with Linux hardening, network security and cryptography basics.
  • Experience with audits, threat modeling or incident response.
  • Clear communicator who can turn findings into action.

Site Reliability Engineer

Infrastructure Remote Full-time

Keep 600+ servers across 65+ countries fast, healthy and self-healing.

You'll own the reliability of a large global VPN fleet — monitoring, automation, capacity and incident response — so users everywhere get a fast, stable connection.

What you’ll do

  • Build monitoring, alerting and automation for a worldwide server fleet.
  • Improve failover, capacity planning and deployment safety.
  • Lead incident response and write blameless post-mortems.
  • Drive down toil through automation and good tooling.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years in SRE/DevOps roles running production at scale.
  • Strong Linux, networking and infrastructure-as-code skills.
  • Experience with Prometheus/observability and CI/CD.
  • Calm under pressure during incidents.

iOS Engineer

Engineering Remote Full-time

Craft a beautiful, rock-solid LunoVPN app for iPhone and iPad.

You'll build and polish our iOS app — from the WireGuard-based tunnel integration to a delightful, privacy-first user experience.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain the LunoVPN iOS app in Swift.
  • Integrate and optimize the VPN tunnel and network extensions.
  • Obsess over performance, battery and UX details.
  • Ship reliably with tests and staged rollouts.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of native iOS development in Swift.
  • Experience with Network Extension / VPN or systems-level iOS APIs a plus.
  • Strong eye for UX and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable owning features end to end.

Android Engineer

Engineering Remote Full-time

Build the LunoVPN Android app used across phones, tablets and TV.

You'll develop our Android app in Kotlin, integrating our WireGuard-based LunoGuard tunnel and split tunneling across a huge range of devices.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain the LunoVPN Android app in Kotlin.
  • Integrate the VPN tunnel, split tunneling and kill-switch.
  • Optimize for battery, performance and device fragmentation.
  • Collaborate with design on a clean, accessible UI.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of native Android development in Kotlin.
  • Experience with VpnService or systems-level Android APIs a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Android performance and lifecycle.
  • Ownership mindset and care for quality.

Network / VPN Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Remote Full-time

Expand and tune our WireGuard-based network across the globe.

You'll grow our server footprint, tune the WireGuard/LunoGuard stack, and squeeze out every bit of speed and privacy from the network.

What you’ll do

  • Provision, automate and tune VPN servers worldwide.
  • Optimize WireGuard/LunoGuard performance and routing.
  • Work with security on RAM-only, no-logs infrastructure.
  • Improve DNS, obfuscation and anti-censorship capabilities.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years in network/systems engineering.
  • Deep Linux networking knowledge; WireGuard experience a strong plus.
  • Automation skills (Ansible/Terraform or similar).
  • Passion for privacy and performance.

Product Designer

Design Hybrid — San Diego Full-time

Shape a privacy product that feels effortless across every platform.

You'll design flows and interfaces for our apps and web — making strong security feel simple, calm and trustworthy.

What you’ll do

  • Design end-to-end flows for mobile, desktop and web.

You'll own growth experiments across channels — always on-brand, always respecting the privacy of the people we market to.

What you’ll do

  • Plan and run acquisition experiments across channels.
  • Own analytics, funnels and conversion optimization.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years in growth/performance marketing.

Customer Support Specialist

Support Remote Full-time

Help people stay private and unblock any issue, fast and kindly.

You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice of LunoVPN — solving problems, writing help docs, and feeding insights back to product.

What you’ll do

  • Answer user questions across email and chat with empathy.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, apps and billing issues.
  • Write and improve help-center articles.
  • Surface recurring issues to product and engineering.

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years in customer support (tech/SaaS preferred).
  • Great written communication in English.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting apps and networks.
